this is a 4"x5" crop from a 42mp (18x27) photo, taken with a 40mm lens. my camera and lens were $1000 together. it's not even from the center of the image, this is where the edge of the APS-C sensor would end.
if it's any larger than 4x5 on your screen you're pixel peeping, zoom out.
for real world photos this is kind of like having a 180mm lens that weighs 173g.
