>>3278556Thank you anon, glad to hear that from you. 4chan in general is a harsh place for receiving criticism, but good at the same time to get such diverse opinions. I've not really anyone else to judge me, who has some real photographic knowledge. Instagram just gives you comments like "beautiful" or "Wow this looks amazing" and nothing more.
I value everyones opinion on my stuff equally and try to work on every negative aspect.
The anon was also right with the halos tho, not because of the pixel peepig aspect (i'm not a fan of it too), but the halos are a result of the brush filter tool from camera raw. Didn't noticed these spots while editing. Same thing counts for the f22 aperture, which is just not ideal for this sort of photos.
At the end of the day, everyone is trying to tell a story with his picture. Some capture a moment, which the thought of that it looks amazing or beautiful. I'm mostly trying really hard to replicate whatever i've seen during that time.
For now, i'm still having to get used to the Nikon D7100 (at the moment i'm still preferring my nikon d80)
also 20mp are way too much for me, how can people even use a 42MP camera? it would take me forever to edit such a monsterous amount of information compressed on a single pic
Pic semi related, one of my older pics with my beloved Nikon D80
