>>3570498It is super easy, so I hope to see some of your images soon. If all else fails, you can just poke a hole in some foil and tape it over the camera body or extension tube/bellows.
>>3570596Use this and recalculate every time you change a value,
https://mrpinhole.com/calcpinh.phphttps://learnframing.com/diagonal-calculator/A 24mmx24mm square will be 33.94mm diagonal. So the image diameter needs to be wider than 33.94mm or hard vignetting will occur. The pinhole should be about 0.179mm and the focal length should be about 18mm. That should give an image diameter 34.6mm wide. If that is too small and you can't get the hole exactly dead center then a slightly longer focal length and slightly wider pinhole will give you some leeway.
For instance, I use a D3400 with a sensor that is 23.5mm x 15.6mm (28.21mm diagonal). The best focal length I can achieve with that is best at 18-20mm, but 15mm is the theoretical max. It just looks better 18-20mm FL due to centering issues and how the sensor glass reacts to the extreme oblique angles of the light (streaking and color changes).
>>3570479>>3570534>exposured twiceThat's very cool. There was a film thread dedicated to that some time ago. Here's one I did manually using the D3400 and a very long exposure in very low light. I just reposition the skull in a timed manner during the single exposure.
