>>3618547>cine film when processed in ECN-2 is low contrastHence why I tend to bleach bypass my films. I have actually contact-printed onto some 3383 for fun. Had to cut the strips into 4 exposures long.
>>3618377I forget to mention, if the film passes the Remjet test (it likely will) a mixture of Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) if you can get it and baking soda will do to remove the remjet. I typically have a 60/40 mixture in favor of the the Soda Ash. You'll need about a liter mixed, but it will have to stay between 36 and 40 celsius when it goes to the film. Shake vigorously for about a minute, then dump out. Keep repeating until the water stops coming out black. Then rinse very well with water of the same temp. To get the rest off (there will be leftovers), go back to the darkroom and use a moist cloth and wipe the length of the film. Then flip the cloth over to the clean side and start on the reverse side of the film. Dry, and reload into the canister and it ought to be ready.
