Some of these photographers and models would start dating multiple people in the photography scene, and when the onlyfans' girls and cam models started drama with each other, they'd get a photographer caught in the middle. Girls were notoriously jealous of each other and would start drama non-stop especially if you did shoots with another girl who earned more on her onlyfans/platforms.
I plan to eventually start fashion/portrait photography again but right now I'm going back to what I enjoyed when I started, long photo walks where I take pictures that I like and sit somewhere alone and reflect on life and the things I'm grateful for. Downside is IG is good for getting in touch with people for portraits and fashion, but terrible for everything else.
TL;DR Toronto photography scene is mostly clout chasers and people roleplaying as professional photographers and models. Social media ruined a lot of photography and took the fun out of it.
