Need some advice..
>be me, casual/hobbyist photographer with older canon dslr
>mostly take shots of cars, motorcycles, guitars or product/lightbox stuff
>daughter's born, start trying out portraits of her and family
>buy cheap yongnou 35mm/50mm lenses
>getting praise for the shots i'm getting
>buy a mirrorless w/kit lens, and a better 35mm lens
>getting high praise for my shots
>one friend asks me to take her maternity pics
>another friend asks me to take pics of her modeling shirts she's selling
>first friend is a regular person, second friend used to professionally model
>kind of offers I can't turn down without disappointing them.
>still not very comfortable/in the zone with my new camera yet
Any advice? I'm batshit nervous to take portraits of other people. When I take my shots, I'd say I'd get maybe 10-20 solid shots out of 300-400 photos I take. I have no real experience posing people, which would suck for the first friend, but second friend prob knows how to. I'm thinking about bringing both cameras so if I can't get what I need with my new one, I can rely on what I know I can do with the old one..
