This butterfly is already pretty big at like 3.5 inches tall, so I did not have to use as much magnification, which means a sharper image and a slightly larger dof for me to work with. I tried a two light setup as well. It came out looking so crispy.
I have a male and female specimen of this species, so I will be taking a picture of the second one in the same pose next. Should be a pretty cool two piece set.
