>>3446579That makes sense. The problem is that the the prejudicial perception about India has already taken over foreigners. The problem with that is India is a much more complex nation than just street shitting, poverty, and all the other shit people find weird about us. True, that is one thing that happens over here but it would be stupid to think that India is only comprising of that. Every place has it's dark corners and as photographers, I don't think we can dwell only on our pre-made notions about a place and shut ourselves among the walls of hate and racist ideas. Thanks so much. I do believe that I should not try to expose the India y'all are used to be seeing but the thing is that these images don't only portray India. Indians are more connected to family than most western countries, our emotions are vested in how we feel about our companions, brothers, mothers, sisters, and fathers. Which is why I aim to expose the emotions Indians feel as human beings that are universal and should be felt by y'all living overseas. But I don't think I can make that journey until y'all become accepting and try to understand the emotions we feel here. Not the poverty and backwardness.
