Is Rockwell a good photographer? Far from it. But he seems like a decent dude with a fair amount of understanding of gear. I rarely buy gear without reading his take on it even if I don't agree with everything he says. The mere fact that many people in the photog community at least know him (for better or worse) is impressive.
