>>3548087The Ricoh GR is nothing like a phone. For one thing the sensor inside is aps-c while phones have a tiny sensor. So it is completely usable in low light. It also has 28mm 35mm and 50mm crop modes if you want to change the FOV. The lens is razor sharp and has character unlike a phone camera. And it has film simulations which are really well done. The high res black and white is gorgeous.
The ergonomics also beat out a phone, you can control everything with one hand and the snap focus means you rarely have to worry about focusing. It's my favourite camera series of all time.
I sold my Sony A6000 because the ergonomics sucked and the menus are horrible. Plus the A6000 shutter sound is one of the loudest of cameras I've used and it can't be turned off like in the X-T2.
But honestly I own way too many cameras and gear, if someone held a gun to my head and said I can only have one, it would be my Ricoh GR. I wouldn't even think about it.
