I started shooting film but I stopped when I realized how it's not any more authentic, it's a much larger pain in the ass, it still requires a ton of work in development or scanning them editing the negative anyway. All the money you're putting into film could be going into lenses or other gear for your digital bodies. All of that for an aesthetic? For me it's just not worth it.
The only real reason I've ever come across to shoot film is that it's consistent and the character of your images won't change as companies fuck with their sensors or release new ones.
