Unfortunately, there is not much you can do to correct it.
If an image is too light you can darken a bit, adjust saturation, etc, and try to salvage it (pic related).
if it’s too dark though, I’ve personally found they’re extremely difficult to fix digitally.

Film, especially point and shoot instant film, is a lot about trial and error and learning to work within the limitation you’re given.
