tripod question: i've got an EOS 800D and yesterday bought the Manfrotto befree advanced tripod. Accidently bought the QPL version of it tho which is for Sony cams (and hence comes with another plate).
Here's the thing: the QPL version also got another locking system for the legs extension (those snap levers) than the standard version of the tripod (which got the M-lock system). I'd really prefer the snap system of the QPL since it seems to last longer than the M-lock.
Would the Manfrotto 200PL-PRO plate go well with the 800D and still be usable with the befree advanced QPL version? The plate goes about 25 bucks over here, not much of an issue if this gives me access to the QPL locking system.
