>>3678513Most photographers with any aspirations to be Serious Photographers will use a nondestructive editing program, which lets you apply a bunch of edits to the raw file (without actually modifying the file; it actually just saves the edits as a list of instructions to perform on the file to get the end result and doesn't touch the actual raw file itself) and then export as JPEG to post places at the end, so you're always getting the best quality.
Examples of this are Lightroom, Capture One, and Dark Table (the last of which is free, so you can try it out without spending a bunch of money). These are also designed to help you organize your photos, which is really useful if you shoot a lot.
