I'd need to remove the handle every time I put it away. I'd still need a strap just in case the camera gets away from me. I'm in some places where I have to hold onto tree roots while taking photos with one hand and propping it up on my knee type stuff. Or I'm belly button deep in water.
>>3338978I have a boat load of lenses. That was just one example setup. I have lenses that weight 5lbs by themselves. As for why use this instead of that? I don't have a dedicated macro lens and I use tubes for lots of things besides simply getting 1:1.
