I've googled around and it seems like all of those 16mpx sensors were doing some kind of processing on raws - in xt10 it just looks kinda weird, but for example in x100t it looks exactly like what ordinary noise reduction does (pic related, comb pattern instead of natural distribution here = NR data manipulation). Is this camera actually good in low light situations as people often claim, or was it just running noise reduction on RAW files? Or is it maybe some magical special NR doable only on this weird x-trans pixel pattern, and that's why it's happening?
I kinda want to give x100t a try, it looks real good in every aspect except that tiny little detail. I'll probably get it anyway, but i'd sure love to hear some good news on that. I don't want automatic NR in my raws, the heck, i want real low light performance, actual detail, actual low noise or at least pleasant noise pattern
