Dust and scratch removal for the nikon is a big plus. The ability to multiexpose without fuckery on the plustek is helpful, especially for slides. It seems to deal with inverting and negating the orange masks on color negatives just as well as my nikon. I'd have probably bought a plustek if I was just going to scan important frames from rolls. If I had the money to spend, I'd probably buy a pacific image xa / reflecta rps 10m. whole roll scanning just seems so convenient
