The third question is about shooting in "colored" light conditions. During cosplay contest, participants would frequently make use of very intensive red or blue light. I have some problems with working on such photos later - especially in bright, red light I often lose details or have picture appears overblown, even with minimal modifications. At the same time converting to black and white shows that those details are not lost and are still there - but I don't know how to properly "pull them back". Here is one of examples. You might notice that it's not exactly focused - I found out after the con that lens was in fact autofocusing behind where it should (2cm at 3m).
