>>4272347depends if you want a good EVF and weather sealing. if you don't care about EVF and weather sealing the gx9 is the better cam. if you'd like a nice oled EVF and have a weather sealed body the gx8 is the better one.
the image quality of both is typical m43 smartphone quality. but the gx9 has more modern software features (like min shutter speed on auto iso, etc) while the gx8 has the better haptics and build quality.
I had both and sent back the gx9 to get a gx8
