Can I use any kind of bottle to store mixed powder developer? I wanted to buy a 1L packet of Ilford ID-11, but a 3.8L packet of Kodak D-76 (which by all accounts is virtually identical) is almost the same price, but it'll be a bit harder for me to store because I only have a few old film chemistry bottles laying around.
I know that ideally chemicals should be stored in air tight, light proof bottles, but is there any reason I couldn't just use old washed out drinks bottles or something?
