>so they gave the option to use uncompressedNot on all their cameras. So from a customer service standpoint some cameras still can only shoot uncompressed raw
>We've now got people saying they suck because you can't assign a button to manually switch between evf and rear screen, despite the fact the auto switch works just fine.I've always said this. Other manufacturers offer this and it's actually a really useful thing to do if you're shooting in a cramped place to stop it auto switching or even save power by turning the EVF to eye sensor only.
Their menus and usability are still below the competition, some of the older cameras are incredibly slow to operate (Fuji, Canon and Olympus still have this issue to). Their firmware updates have been there albeit incredibly slow and sparse.Region locking your firmware is a bit of a shitty move too desu.

As someone with a Sony, I wouldn't buy another one of their cameras until the things they're bad at improve. It's the same reason I wouldn't buy a Canon right now either.
I shoot more film than digipleb anyway, so waiting for a manufacturer to git gud is a-ok in my book.

>that's invalid because I said so>I'm only doing this because it's so easy to prove people wrong>avoiding addressing issues while continuing to reply and cast new bait
