Doesnt make sense in full frame, unless sony will use it for the A7s IV for better DR and Noise (the down sampling improves noise further since the noise is pixel size and the pixels can be run at different exposures).
An A7 with it would allow 96mp and would cannabalise the A7rIV.
Might make sense in MFT though, improved noise in 16mp. 64mp for landscape shooters.
