Depending on how you look at it, either nothing (well, nothing but one long-discontinued line produced by Epson) works quite like a Leica, so nothing out there works "just as well", or alternately just about everything works much much better.
I feel like I'm more a simp for the shooting style than I am for the brand per se. Like, I wouldn't have any particular interest in buying one of Leica's autofocus mirrorless cameras, or any of their point & shoots, or any of their SLRs. But I'm definitely a simp for the M line in particular.
