The myth of the stealthiness of a small camera needs to be buried. Small cameras are better for street because they're >the one you have with you.
You don't something cumbersome or bulky enough that you need to take it around. If you want to snap from a distance on the street then MFT is probably the answer, they look inoffensive with their lenses and maybe you have a 200mm equivalent.

Couldn't find a normal zoom for the canon in the comparison, would be a bit more compact than the nearly superzoom I think. The 70-200 for the Sony I didn't bother with because of two reasons: they were G lenses (stupidly expensive) and they are huge.
