So I read on that other website that converting movies shot on film to 4K is easy because even 35mm is vastly higher resolution than most digital cameras. To that end I got some 35mm film, a good Canon body and shot some photos, developed them and scanned them with a pretty mid to high end film scanner from Epson and they just kind of suck. I don't mean composition wise, I mean quality wise, they're super grainy and fuzzy. How on Earth is 35mm supposed to beat digital?
