old but decent examples of the "magic"
left 3 are 35/1.4, right two are the f2 then 33
it almost has like a radial look to the bokeh, not swirly like some other lenses
the other two have a lot smoother look to the bokeh
i personally don't like it that much anymore

The 35 f2 and 33 f1.4 definitely have a more modern rendering. The OG 35 f1.4 is unique, but I still prefer the 35 f2 over it.

I know terrible examples for comparison, but I think you can see the difference well enough in the bokeh. Left three are 35 f1.4, top right is 35 f2, bot right is 33 f1.4.
