>>3725616Why did lens makers stop putting an aperture dial on their lenses? Do people really prefer controlling it from a camera dial than the lens?
Fuji usually puts one on their lenses, and I've seen a Sony with an aperture dial. Is it coming back into fashion? Also, are they actually mechanically controlled, or is it just a switch to tell the lens to move the motor?
To me, being able to turn any camera mode into also aperture priority mode just by moving the lens off A seems a lot more intuitive. Do people accidentally move it and have it mess up their shots, or something?
