So I use a Nikkor 70-300 to shoot and it's not really that huge. I keep on the move and don't stick in one place and I don't take creepy photos.
The worst I've gotten is someone asking me preemptively not to shoot them and some bitchy comments about that's what you spend your money on.
Also, I'm pretty young and not ugly so I don't think it's as creepy as it otherwise could be.
But really I don't give a fuck. I'm not gonna see those people again. I also feel more comfortable with a distance.
