It's simply the cheapest and has everything you need. yes it has plastic and yes it can't use any lenses that aren't 40, 50 or 90. but it works and for a low price. this set up cost me around $650 with light meter and all working. If you're skeptical about leica buy this one. but make sure you know how to use manual cameras. I was in your position once OP. then i bought one. It's all feel, i feel more confident taking pictures, and i feel a bit more powerful. It's just that and making other photographers envious. Leica are worth owning especially since they don't loose value, at least the film ones. if you cant; buy a M mount Voiglander. but thats like buying a BMW motorcycle over a Ducati.
