he also said there is enough room between the lens ring and the cam body ring for these screws to come out "because my L glass has a rubber seal which leaves a gap for the screws to loosen" which as far as I can tell is complete BS, all of my L glass has that tiny thin rubber gasket-type thing but the rings basically are mashed up against each other. There's even a tiny sensor button that has to be depressed to make sure the lens is properly mounted.
