I think a bigger obstacle to me freehanding it with this lens is the extremely narrow range of focus even at higher apertures. These were also done without flash since the main thing I wanted to test was the bellows/cameras technical performance and see if there were any leaks or whatnot. if I can find a slim bodied flash unit I'll be in business since I already have a mount for it, but if not I'll need to come up with an alternate setup I guess. the journey continues
