how are customers supposed to know what formula their lens is ? I've read a thread sometime ago that praised the background blur of the Tessar.
Now, I've look around at my lenses and none appear to have even a 4-3 construction, so I looked at other formulas and cross checked my lenses. As it turns out, one of my lenses appear to be a Planar, but like I asked further up, there is no mention of it following this formula, only the contruction and the diagram vaguely looks like the Planar formula. Am I to assume that if they look alike, I can call it a Planar ? See picrel for a comparison
