Sensor dust is not generally a huge issue at f8 on APS-C cameras. Large-ass specks can be, but large-ass specks are much less common than the tiny dust that shows up past f11.
One or two large specks dont really matter, those are very easy to fix. Hundreds of tiny specks is a much bigger problem (when you are shooting at the apertures that reveal it)
Pic related is the amount of dust my sensor has at f16. It's more or less spotless at f8. The lens of a GR is slightly wider than the lens this was taken with, so the threshold for visibility is slightly lower, but it remains a generally true statement.
Also, you blathering idiot, I'm not suggesting people shouldn't buy a GR or should avoid it because of the dust. I'm simply responding to the person that claimed it's just a meme. It's not. Ricoh GRs absolutely are more susceptible to dust due than some cameras. Zoom lenses tend to pump more dust into your sensor than primes too. More movement means more air cycling through means more potential dust. More shocking news at 11.
