>>3949916Hey there, not to be a fag but i've been wanting to ask you some questions, i rarely visit the board and in fact i shouldn't be here but you have been somewhat of an example to follow for me after you posted some pics of the Stylus 300 almost two years ago, i even reposted a couple not long ago after some anon posted some good photos of similar style.
I know you also didn't post for a long time (i checked) so, for my question, how did you pull such contrast and colors in the pool shots and some others "naturally"? here's an example, is it filters/VSCO, Photoshop or just lighting? i know some reserve it as a chef's secret recipe but i've wondered anyways because they have few visible artifacts in terms of the camera's sensor.
Without using extensive filters or techniques i find pretty hard to come close to your color work, some of the street/general scenery ones i share a somewhat similar style i've managed to reach but some of the other stuff i know for a fact, because you said so, used a Stylus 300 i just can't.
After you posted on the /dst/ those images some weeks before the pandemic started i bought myself the Olympus and experimented a little, only one (1) picture comes near it. My second question is, because i've seen your IG, that the skies get blotchy with artifacts but in your early ones i don't see that defect, in my experience it is better to shoot the Oly in HQ rather than SHQ but you might have another technique. Also not to bother you more but what's your general idea or intuition to activate the flash? it is pretty harsh and i don't know when to use it without looking like a spaz on the few occasions i've been out of my apartment, yet you seem to have nailed it more than a few occasions.
Also cool photos lol, been seeing them extensively.
