>>3758965What is this cringe shit? Some of us aren't newfags who got our camera last year. Your output slows over time, as the gee golly whizbang feeling you get when you realize that your camera makes lifelike images subsides and you begin to focus on a more singular, unified style and long term projects.
Can you imagine asking even a midtier fine arts photographer to produce "5 photos they shot this week"? Ansel Adams only made something like 18,000 photos in his life. On the other hand, Gary Winogrand died with 2800 rolls of undeveloped film rotting away in his apartment. He shot something like 2 rolls a day every day and then didn't even develop them. goddamn this is why the "nophoto" thing is a fucking meme and should be a banworthy offense. It's purely quantity over quality and nothing else. It's pretending that every photographer has to maintain a beginner's rate of exploration and discovery for the rest of their lives. Niggers, you are lucky if you shoot 5 decent photos in your entire life. What the FUCK does it prove that you shot 5 photos this week? If you're still in the "I GOTTA SHOOT 100 PHOTOS A WEEK BECAUSE I'M STILL LEARNING AND/OR DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT TO SHOOT" phase of your narrative arc, you are in no position to be casting aspersions on this board. Fuck off, retards.
