I mainly use it for MF only or AF + MF options, like DMF of Sony. While in AF mode, pressing the shutter button halfway then rotating the front ring will activate the MF with focus peaking (if set) and distance scale on the screen. Also, it can be used as digital teleconverter. 35, 50mm at jpg mode auto upscaled to 24 mp, if needed.
I was aiming for an aspc pocketable low light option, comparable to the gr iii 's sensor and the XF10 is less than half the price, plus there's a built in flash which I use occasionally so I didn't hesitate to get one.
