>>4245905- For the wide angle, if anything, I'd go with the 20mm f1.8g. It's a GM in disguise. But I really need the sunstars offered by the Loxia. Only the Loxia and the Laowa 15mm f2 allows for the rendering I seek, but for the Laowa, I'd have to find a model manufactured after 2019 (they changed the number of aperture blades from 7 to 5. 5 or 10 is what I need). There's also another option with the Voigtlander 21mm f1.4 with 12 blades, but I can't justify that much money.
- Yeah, the 35mm f1.8 I have is the Sony APS-C one. Very nice lens.
- 90mm : not the macro one, but a recent entry in the i series from Sigma, a nice tiny option (pic related). It's not macro, but has 50cm minimum focus, which for a 90mm is very good and opens up nice possibilities, it's definitely a plus over the Sony and the Samyang which I have in mind (80cm and 69cm respectively). It's just, I'm not sure about the f2.8 over a f1.8 lens for this focal length.
As for zooms, if I get one, I think the 24-105 has the versatility I seek. I wouldn't mind it being a tad smaller. I also *could* still use my current 18-105 APS-C. But in the meantime, I think I'll go with this primes kit, and wait for a 24-105 GII if it ever happens, and the 18-105 could still save my ass if needed.
