In 4x5, I shoot cut aerial film (Aviphot 200, Svema FN64, with sprockets) for super cheap, but that's what's available here. It's a whole lot of fun. Heavy, but setting everything up meticulously to get the shot you want is really fun.
My whole setup was less than a single Leica, and that's including a 6x12 roll film back, Lomograflok (oh that's fun too! makes you popular at parties), 75, 120 and 210mm lenses. Large format has that DIY feel where you have to make complete your set yourself, including changing lens boards, but in the end it's not that complicated, just takes more time.
