turns out its the base curve in darktable 3.0.1 that makes shit all pastel. The older 2.4.2 uses the same 'pentax-like' curve, but theres something about the way new one is implemented that is different. This shit pisses me off; editors change and make 'improvements' that really aren't.

I never feel compelled to shoot protests. Witnessing it and sensing all the different individuals pass is the best I can muster. It seems a bit like a mobile doof for a lot of the participants.
There were plenty of photographers there, I don't need to shoot more of the same shitty shit as they do.
