Found a massive eagle nest yesterday evening. The eagles I have been visiting for years aren't nesting at that spot this year (found their current nest, but it's no good for shooting) so it's great to find another that's somewhat accessible by boat.
So awkward to get close and keep a good shooting angle, but I think I found a way to get about 3x closer, but it will only be good with morning sun. Just need to go back and do some climbing.
No owls yet this year... no surprise there.
