For 35mm, even knowing the price of one exposure, i kept snapping anyway since i got a lot of pictures by roll.
And if that roll is spent, no problem, changing the canister can be done as long as you can hold the camera with two hands.
Medium format really said: You get 15 pics on 6x4.5, and once shot, loading up a new 120 roll will force you to put the camera somwhere stable.
For me, simply the act of getting less pics per roll makes me really consider each shot.
Also because I home develop, where i do get less pics for the same time when compared to 35mm; so now i want my pics to have been worth it.
Since i can do 2 120 rolls at once for 30 pics, or 3x 35mm rolls for up to 108 pics. From 108 pics i can accept some sub-par pics, from 30 pics not so much.
