It's a great camera and lens combo though, I love my G1. Just get used to the AF. Sometimes it's known to miss. Theres a distance scale at the bottom on the VF, so just get used to checking that before you press the shutter button.
All lenses are really sharp, with the 45mm being the sharpest. Make sure you're getting scans made from a good lab scanner or pro home scanner. Otherwise you're missing out on that sweet sweet Zeiss.
