I don't really have to trudge it too far into the field. no more than an hour hike or so. I feel id be willing to do the same hikes with the bigger sony lens but I would rather save the money and get a teleconverter if possible and spend the savings on other lenses that I need. namely a Sony 20mm f1.8 G. Currently my widest lens is my poo poo kit 28-70mm and my favorite is my Viltrox 85mm 1.8 MKII.
