Does anyone have recommendations for a solid tripod for film that isn't $1k?
I have a Sony A7III right now, and the tripod I'm using most of the time is the attached image. It gets the job done since I mostly do still shots, but I also have a Manfrotto 502 head. And while it does work with my travel tripod, it's hardly an ideal setup (new at this kind of gear so it was kind of a dumb buy)
All manfrotto legs are like 700 bucks. I'm just looking for something a bit more substantial - I've been told to look at this guy a few times:
