The big draw to the Df is that no one else has really ever made a camera like it. There have been cameras that came close like that weird Epson rangefinder which I think is cool as shit.
It's not a one-trick pony, but it's the only pony in the race. You get all that retro shit in a FF digital package that can natively mount classic pre-AI manual focus vintage glass on a sensor that was made for them as God intended.
You wouldn't want to do sports with it, the AF is atrocious, but if you were careful, you could. You wouldn't want to shoot a wedding with it, it only has one card slot, but if you were careful, you could. You wouldn't want to do stuff like this
