Dont get me wrong: theres good and bad times and contexts for going anywhere. I guess you just need to figure that bit out, be good at blending, or have a local guide to pick up queues from.
Given that public spaces in west end/fortitude valley seem to be populated almost exclusively due to bars, markets or sunday morning cafes... maybe those are the times theres enough public scrutiny on them that it becomes easier to be /p/-tier self conscious and carry a camera?
