Had some drum scans to do for other photogs today so I put a couple of mine on there. This was a day that was totally overcast and truly lousy light. I've spent a lot of time out there on days like that and didn't expect any sort of sunset, especially since there was no clearing in the clouds to the west. It was quite a surprise when the sky suddenly blew up for all of maybe 30 seconds. I was just about to blow a sheet on the overcast light so I happened to have my camera set up otherwise there wouldn't have been a chance. 20 seconds on Velvia 50 makes for some intense colors.
