And you can totally camera boring people doing boring stuff, but try to make it more deadpan. Check out the work of Martin Parr for inspiration. He uses a more objective approach to tell the entire story. I'm sure there was some comedy present at the farmer's market. Take a step back and try to capture the whole scene for the viewer.
