They bottomed out like all film gear and at their lowest were selling for ~$500usd when everyone was going crazy over digital and now that more people are interested in film again the price has swung back up. It's still not as expensive as it originally sold for tho.
Would never pay that much for a camera like that, personally. That's a metric fuckton of film you could get instead.
