Hey guys, got a question regarding this topic.
I got a kit lense 18-50mm f3.5, aps-c size. So for my a6000 its equivalent to 27mm smallest focal length. I have tried to do some star photography, but i think my aperture is just too small to capture enough light.
I am a student so i only have little money i can spare for gear. I am thinking about buying the sigma 19mm f2,8 for star photography and low light in general. But is it worth it? Will the difference from f3.5 to f2.8 make a big difference?
pic related. I didn't yet drive way out to places where there is little light pollution. This photo was taken in my town just to test out my kit lenses capabilities.
I do realize it is horrible.
